Albishorn is one of the brands I am always eager to see what they do, when ever they release a new watch I drop everything I do to take a look at it as in most cases it is the most interesting watch release of that day. This is no different as they add a third opiece to their Type 10 with this new one being called the Type 10 Officer. The reason why I have such a love and appreciation for Albishorn is that their design language is so much fun, they are vintage in the designs but it’s almost like a cyberpunk version of how old watches could have looked like. The Type 10 reimagines how the classic pilot watches like the once seen in World War 2 and the following decades could have looked. This gives it a unique familiarity with the vintage vibes while also being something completely different from everything else on the market.

The big difference between this and the previous ones is just the color of the dial with this having a beautiful cream colored dial. In a 39 mm case with a lug to lug with of 47 mm the watch should wear compact on the wrist but without trying it on I can’t say for certain. But from what I have seen from pictures it looks stunning.

The watch like all of Albishorn watches is made in extremely small quantities being limited to only 99 pieces, and costing 3950 CHF making it a statement piece in the high mid range budget category. The watch comes with two leather straps one black and one beige, the movement is the patented proprietary chronograph ALB02M caliber, which is a monopusher manual wound movement with 65 hours of power reserve and it has been certified by COSC as a chronometer.

If you want to take a closer look at the watch as I highly recommend you do I will link it here.
