The marketing team at Seiko is a genius. Seiko is very well known for doing collaborations, they have done more than count but they may just have made their biggest one yet. They have just teamed up with a company that is worth just shy of 200 billion USD Pepsico is one of the biggest beverage companies in the world, but they have big business ventures through Doritos, Cheetos and Quaker Oats. The biggest is undoubtedly Pepsi.

The Pepsi name has also been synonomous with watches, the red and blue colorway has been named the pepsi colorway, most notably with the GMT-Master from Rolex. This has never been officially endorsed by Rolex or by Pepsi. Now Seiko have made it official, their Seiko 5-Sporst line has an official Pepsi GMT watch and an official diver.

These watches are made as a limited edition. If you want them, you should have no difficulties getting them as they are limited to 7.000 pieces each. These watches have always provided a great, cheap alternative to Rolex as they are incredibly similar in design.

My favorite part about these watches is the boxes, as the models come in a Pepsi-shaped soda can, which is an incredibly fun detail. The Pepsi logo and lettering are not modern as they are based on those you would see in the 90s.

I must say bravo, Seiko, for pulling this off. This is one of the most fun collaborations in the 5-Sports line and in general, the entire watch space. I have one request: can we now please stop calling the GMT-master the Pepsi? Can we call it the Pan Am, like it should have always been? It was made for Pan Am, not for Pepsi.
